Fragrance

Hello, again!  The roses on this card were stamped with ones from a new set from Our Daily Bread Designs, called "Fragrance".  So detailed and fun to color.

I used black Versafine ink for the flowers to capture the detail, and regular water-based markers to color the image in.  I stamped the background using the same stamp and didn't color the images to give it a more lacy-vintage look.  I used an embossing folder called Birds and Swirls on the white background, a little ribbon, and a ribbon stamp on yellow for the center strip.  Everything was then mounted on a 6 1/2" x 4" piece of cantaloupe cardstock.  May God fill your life with the fragrance of His never-ending love!

Teal and Green Florals

Hello, all!  Welcome back!

A friend gave me a stack of cardstock that is absolutely gorgeous, so I had to work with it!  There are so many pages that coordinate together, it's hard to choose.  I think it's called Boho.

Anyway, I wanted to share these three cards using the same paper, but in random patterns and layout.  The other component that is the same on each, is the wings and sentiments from a new Our Daily Bread Designs stamp set.  Each set of wings is glittered just a bit on the edges.  I hope you enjoy them.

Everything is Okay!

Hi!  I just have to share this one with you!  This is one of my favorite popup box cards, and I just get a little giddy with the cheer it brings!  OK, I'm all better now.  haha

I love blue and white together, and found this beautiful cardstock - I have no idea where I got it from, but it doesn't matter - I'm glad I had it to use!  The sentiment, "everything is going to be okay" is from Verve.  If you need a one-liner sentiment, or one verse from the bible, Verve is the place to find them!  This card is 5" x 6" and will fold flat to fit in a large card envelope.  I used a butterfly that is 3D on the inside, so it makes it about 1/4" thick, so a little extra postage will be required.

The inside sentiment reads, "Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows; it empties today of its strengths - Corrie ten Boom".  The flowers and sentiment are from Our Daily Bread Designs.  I love the cornflowers!  A friend gave me the butterfly which fit into the scene perfectly!  It's wings are made from bird feathers.  This card epitomizes summer in my mind.  What do you think?
